Qualifying Round:
The first round of competition is the Qualifying Round. Qualifying Round judging is based solely on the evaluation of the executive summaries submitted by February 1, 2010. The executive summary is a maximum of six (6) pages:
1 page executive summary
1 page industry analysis
2 page market analysis (including assumptions that lead to financials)
2 page financials
2nd Round:
All 2nd round qualifying teams must submit a maximum of 30 pages (including appendices) by March 7th. The plans will be submitted electronically to submission@tulanebusinessplancompetition.com. Any plans over 30 pages will be disqualified.

Updated Executive Summary
Market Research and Analysis
Industry and Competitive Analysis
Management Team Bios
Sales and Marketing Plan
Market Entry Strategy
3-5 year Strategic Growth Plan
Financial Summary and Cash Flows Forecast
Summary of any extra money needed to deliver the product or service to market
Your plan will be read by three judges and graded on the basis of its composition, quality of research, and viability. Questions will be directly related to the above requested data.
3rd Round:
Three teams from the second round will be invited to New Orleans for the final live-presentation round, at which ONE will win a cash prize of $50,000! Once we have announced the three finalists, each team will have one week to make final changes to their business plans before final submission on April 3rd.
